I am pretty sure Brick has at least ONE monologue, though I don't have my script here (at work) so I couldn't tell you where.  I want to say he definately has one at the end where he tells off "Brother Man" and "Sister Woman".  Don't watch the movie as a substitute.  I think it is a good movie, but nothing beats reading Tennessee Williams yourself.
