  1. the landing craft the astronauts just got out of

  2. If I bend over, you'll probably see that from the Moon.

Seriously...I think the Great Wall of China.

  3. Ive heared that the gerat wall of china can be seen but i think its not true coz its only about 30 metres wide.

  4. Yep, all those things the astronauts left behind.

  5. Great wall of China

    Lights of Las Vegas

  6. The great wall of china and Las vegas. Both are visible from moon.

  7. The Great Wall of China is the only one, I believe.

  8. Yes: The Great Wall of China

  9. The great wall is hardly visible from a space shuttle, so there is no chance of seeing it on the moon. Apollo landing equipment and flag could be seen but it would require some searching. The astronauts said the flag could've been knocked off by the LM taking off.

Satellites can be seen... heck, you can see them from Earth!

  10. That American flag they planted up there.  And satellites.

  11. Yes! The light that shines from LuXor in Vegas!

  12. I believe there is still debris on the moon from the Apollo missions when the US landed there.  So strictly speaking yes, you can see man-made objects from the moon since they are still on the moon.

Examples are the moon-rover, the golfballs from that one time the astronauts golfed on the moon, and various landers.

  13. I think the Great Wall of China is the only thing.

  14. No.

NASA says, "The Great Wall can barely be seen from the Shuttle, so it would not be possible to see it from the Moon with the naked eye." Thus, it'd be tough to spot the Great Wall of China or any other object from the moon. Furthermore, from the moon, even the continents are barely visible.

NASA astronaut Alan Bean is quoted as saying.......

"The only thing you can see from the moon is a beautiful sphere, mostly white (clouds), some blue (ocean), patches of yellow (deserts), and every once in a while some green vegetation. No man-made object is visible on this scale. In fact, when first leaving earth's orbit and only a few thousand miles away, no man-made object is visible at that point either."
