Are there any married couples out there, that are Extremely Mismatched somehow?? :o(?

14 yrs married! I try hard to stay in and be as happy as possible with the wife and 3 kiddos of 7b,10b,13g. Thanks everyone!

Apparently you married this woman for good reason,& I wonder whether boredom has set in ? If you still feel loving towards her,try to go different places.Surprise her with some small gifts of appreciation.Talk with her about wanting to re-charge your environment. Has she changed wt.wise? Have you similar interests ? Go to counseling,& let your wife know that you want things to get even better. She's probably feeling different also.Partners sense when their other half has changed.

Sure.  There are a lot of mismatched couples.  You will have to work extra hard to make your marriage work and try to find things in common and get a babysitter often for those kiddos.

I was married to an opposite for 11 years.  No matter how hard I tried, it just was not going anywhere.  Our goals were different, our values were different and the discipline for our daughter was different.  He also did not believe that any kid had to have choirs or responsibilities.  They were supposed to be free kids and just be kids, no matter what.  In other words, he does not think respect means anything.  Our marriage was a struggle for me the whole time, he thought it was an easy ride.  I did everything and he did nothing.  He wanted no responsibilities and ran the roads all the time.

Like I said, I WAS married to that.  I am now married to my perfect match.  We are on the same page with everything and have the same goals for life in all aspects.  It is wonderful.  Life could not be better for me now.
