  1. There are some in the larger cities(Dublin, Galway, Cork), but they are not all over the place like the US.

    McDonalds SUCKS!

  2. Yes, loads. That doesnt mean u have to go in though.

  3. There are lots I am afraid, just ignore them .They are all over the world and Ireland is no different

  4. Dublins got quite a few, but Galway city has two, the rest are all supermacs in galway, which is pretty good after ur fill of scoops.

  5. Your in for a dissapointment then.  But they do use local produce so might taste better than what your used to, I doubt it though

  6. Yes but you don't need to go in!  Ireland has their own fast food phenomenon, SUPERMACS!!  Their curry chips rule!!

  7. The first McDonald's restaurant opened in Ireland in May 1977. Currently, there are 60 restaurants with over 3000 employees throughout Ireland.

  8. ha ha, Ireland is not the moon :) i bet there are mcdonalds in the north pole, lol.  there are loads of mcdonalds in ireland.  in athlone town for example (population 30,000) there are 3!!!!

there are also loads of other american establishments here too like burger king, kentucky fried chicken, subway, starbucks etc.

i am not sure what you are expecting to see in ireland but stay out of cities like limerick, cork, galway, dublin if you don't want to see civilisation (irish cities are similiar to cities in every other developed country)
