Are there any military schools or colleges for people who want to become officers in the future?

There are many universities and colleges that have Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) units. Added to that are three others of note: Virginia Military Institute; The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and Texas A&M in College Station Texas.

All those are separate and distinct from the four service academies: U.S. Military Academy West Point, NY; U.S. Naval Academy Annapolis, Maryland; U.S. Air Force Academy Colorado Springs, Colorado and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.

Most people would argue that the academies, such as Westpoint, are the best military schools.

There are also civilian schools that are geared towards follow-on military service such as Virginia Military Institute and the Citadel.

Additionally, most Universities that accept federal funding have a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. Texas A & M is a very good example of this.

Yes, each of the services have an Academy that you could go to if you have great grades and are selected. The Army has West Point, you also have the Naval Academy for the Navy and the Marine Corps, the Air Force Academy, the Coast Guard Academy and the Merchant Marine Academy.  All of them are very selective!  They also have ROTC at many Colleges throughout the country.
