I can't even tell you the amount of money-stealing scams on the internet.  If half the lotteries (which I didn't even enter in and are in Britain) I am "winning" through my email were real, I would be the world's richest man.

Stay away from those "Free iPods" "Free Laptops" and "$1 million" because what they are gaining is often vital information to you and is not to e given away lightly.

The days are gone where you get a penny a click and all that sort of thing. I haven't seen anything serious lately. If they ask you to send money or to buy goods, steer well clear of them.
