  1. areas of development: (you got most of them!) cognitive, creative, social, emotional, physical (gross and fine motor) and spiritual. :)

Don't neglect spiritual.  Wee ones seem to be even closer to God and are very open to learning more and more about where things come from, how flowers grow, why there are rainbows.....  Start with a beginner's Bible and go from there.  Lots of life's lessons about sharing, loving and keeping the peace can be learned at this age.  What a wonderful time!

  3. well you can break them down into fine motor control, gross motor control, social and emotional growth, respective language, expressive language, science, technology, numeracy, reading, writing, dramatic play, visual arts and music.  hope this helps :)
