Are there any native Germans who can suggest a good bier?

As I'm sure you know, American biers are almost undrinkable. The German imports we get are Beck's, St. Pauli Girl, Lowenbrau, & Dortmunder to name a few. What other great German biers might I look for in America?

Man you have a serious lack of knowledge if you think those beers are good and American beers are bad.

Above she gave you one good reference of Penn Brewery another is Boston Beer Company which has won awards in Germany. Keep searching and learning a one day you will understand what good beers is.
