  1. Bone meal or rock phosphate.


  2. Catz has it right, bone meal and rock phosphate,  although rock phosphate takes a long time to become available to the plant.  Wood ash is a source of potash not phosphorus.  Depending on the wood, as much as ten percent potash to 1 percent phosphorus.  Plus, wood ash is pretty alkaline.  

  3. Fresh wood ash.

  4. Who here throws away their bbq coal ash? Not me it goes into the compost pile.
