  1. You can purchase a moldable mouth guard from a sporting goods store.

Put the mouth guard in warm water until it's pliable. Insert it in your mouth to match your dentition. Remove and allow it to harden in this shape.Use the mouth guard at night to keep you from grinding your teeth.

The best thing, however, is to see your dentist and have him work with you on this problem.

  2. see a homeopath - it would be useful.

i have known teeth grinding to be caused not just by stress, internal anger but also when mercury fillings start to leak into the mouth.

also certain vitamins like the Bs may be lacking.

technically its called bruxism by the way if you want to do a search.

  3. There exists published empirical, as well as antidotal, findings that bruxism (teeth grinding) is effectively addressed via neurofeedback (EEG Biofeedback).

  4. I used to grind my teeth all my life and have really bad (or missing) molars because of it.

Once I quit eating sugar, it stopped! It was a miracle. I also take 5HTP so that could help too

  5. If you're talking about whilst sleeping, hypnotherapy would be the obvious route.

Better yet and if you have a sleeping partner, get them to put their finger between your teeth whilst you're remain asleep.
