Are there any negative sides to only eating foods that are supposed to boost your metabolism?

Foods like Oatmeal,bananas,turkey breast,grapefruit,Almonds etc. etc.

  1. Extreme flatulence. I learned that the hard way. It's what complex carbohydrates do to you. After a while your body will adjust, but until then you become a mobile stink bomb.  


  2. I don't see how it could hurt as long as you keep you meals balanced with vegetables, and good fats (olive oil).  I was doing something similar, the only real problem I had was my protien levels dropped so I had to add in soy protien powder.
