Most TV network anchors are rude to the people they invite onto their programs. They ask a question, and then don't give the guest time to answer. Are there any anchors who are civil and polite to their guests?

  1. Some are better than others, but you have to understand two things:

    1. There are time constraints on most shows, so the host usually is in a hurry.

    2. Many guests have their own agenda for appearing, which is different than what the hosts want to talk about. Politicians often fall into this category.

Brian Lamb of C-SPAN is pretty good at this, but he often has an hour.

  2. Try Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC - he rocks the news and does great interviews without interrupting.
