  1. You can try hotel search in http://www.AmericaCheapHotels.com where you can read hotel details, reviews and comments, see photos and its physical locations through maps, details about important nearby locations ....

You can even able to filter out hotel by its features such as Star hotels,Business Center, Room Service, High-speed Internet, Fitness Room, Restaurant Parking, Swimming pool, Pets Allowed, Airport shuttle, Handicap Accessible, Concierge ...

Access lots of USA and worldwide travel information.

  2. There are plenty of hotels, including suite hotels, in the Williamsburg area.  But, as you discovered, the prices are pretty high.  You can get a bargain, though, if you visit during the "off" season, when the tourists go home and the prices go down.

  3. My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Suites on Mooretown Rd. when we went to the Jamestown 400th birthday celebration. It's a bit outside of the historic district, so you definitely need a car, but we thought the location was very convenient. It might seem a bit expensive, but keep in mind that a deluxe breakfast is included, as well as a happy hour at 5 p.m. each night that includes chips and cookies. My husband and I had two "free" (built in to the price of the room) drinks per night. I typed "free," because they do set out a tip jar for the bartenders, but I think that's to be expected.
