  1. Gilley's, wild west, tumbleweed

  2. A great place in the middle of town (not in the suburbs) is Blankco's on West Alabama:

    3406 West Alabama

    Houston, TX 77027

It's practically in the middle of the prestigious River Oaks neighborhood, but you wouldn't know it from the authentic country atmosphere and clientel.  They serve food & alcohol, and they have live music, a dance floor, and some table games.

  3. No, Houston is to filthy.

  4. Wild West on Richmond Near Fountainview.

  5. Gilley's has been closed since the late 80s or 1990. For C&W, I believe Wild West is still open.

  6. The only place I know where you can dance to country and R&B in the same location is the L*****n  bar on Westheimer called Chances/The New Barn Saloon.  Two bars with both kinds of music in the same building.

  7. Wild West Rodeo

    &

Mos in Katy on Mason Road

  8. Mo's in Katy, Tx.  Just a few minutes from Houston and they have Country and R&B at the same bar.  Always packed on the weekend but it is a big enough place to handle the crowd.  Have fun!

  9. I lived there for about three years. I think Club HUSH has different floors in it and each floor has a different theme (i.e. r&b, country, disco, rock, hip-hop, etc.) Plus they always have celebs come through. I think it's near Katy Freeway but you can always Google it =) hope that helps
