  1. know of a book that has all the answers you seek. find the book with pages of yellow. your eyes will be opened to all the knowledge your heart has sought after, when the massage is revealed to you, you find peace in your knew ability to find the answers with the power inside your mind

  2. If you can't find any listings in the Bujinkan or the yellow pages your only choice is to do distance education courses. The problem is that you must find a willing sparring partner for you to tape yourself performing the techniques on them to be graded by your instructor. If you get into Ninjitsu enough there is an organization called SWAN that promotes and sponsors fighters that use Ninjitsu to fight in local MMA events and as well hosting their own MMA events. But just don't limit your training to just Ninjitsu cross train in other systems to make you a more complete fighter. The more you know the more techniques you can use against your opponent in a self defense situation and in competition.

  3. Bujinkan:

    http://www.stlbujinkan.com/

    Genbukan:

None listed on the genbukan website.

    Jinenkan:

None listed on the jinenkan website.

Another option may be home studying, though this tends to not be as good, unless you and a friend are patient and both willing to work together.

The Jinenkan site has DVDs, downloads, and other info that you can download to train with. Ninjutsu.com (American Bujinkan Dojo -- Richard Van Donk's site) has a black belt home study course which isn't a bad series, and they'll try to connect you with someone locally to train with. You'll need a camera to get rank, though... You send in tapes to test after X number of months each rank and they tell you pass or fail and send you your certificate (Whenever the Honbu gets around to issuing it).

Last point, said before: Jutsu, not Jitsu. Jitsu has become anathema because of Ashida Kim's nonsense, and is actually not appropriate pronunciation anyhow. It kana, it's Ji + (small yu) + tsu, if that means anything to you.

  4. first of all buda whatever theres diffrent forms of spelling jitsu in america because it was translated from japaness. and ninjitsu is really disapearing fast because when it was created it wasnt spose to get out of the world of ninja. the only REAL ninjitsu school left is the only desendent straight from ninja thats still alive but its in japan.

  5. Jutsu, not jitsu....goodness that irritates me.

Anyhow, I'm not familiar with any particular Bujinkan Taijutsu Dojo in St. Louis, but try here : http://www.winjutsu.com in the "links" section.

Do your due dilligence into Missouri, and you may find something in that city.

Just as a fair warning, if you do find one you'll be thrown into studying Togakure ryu ninpo taijutsu as that's this years theme.

It's the first time in well over a decade that one of the systems ninpo ryu-ha have been selected as a teaching focus.

This year, ninjutsu, next year, back to Samurai bujutsu waza which is the norm for the Bujinkan.

The three schools of ninjutsu that are included within our overall curriculum are rarely taught outside of Japan....so enjoy it until the new year.

    Good luck!
