You know, where you can go into the drug store like on a Main St. to get your medicine and also get a milkshake or orange soda while you're at it. Do these still exist?

  1. There's one I know of in Eldora, IA.  It's the Ahoy Fountain.  To top it off, the pharmacist is also the soda jerk.

  2. In New Berlin, WI there is a location that is the "old time fountain" but not located in the drug store. It use to be located in the mall like a "Woolers" here is the link to their website. http://www.bakersicecream.com/

  3. I'm looking for one also! I remember a soda fountain drink called a Green River. Sure wish I knew how to make one.

  4. There is one that I know of in Julian, California.  It is where it has always been.  Right next to or in the General store.

  5. I wish I knew...  I'll bet there is somewhere in this country... hopefully someone will answer your question that knows of one still in existence somewhere!!

I live in the suburbs of Detroit and don't know of any that have lasted around here...  There used to be an old place in downtown Port Huron, Michigan called "Diana's" that had been around since the early 1900's I think... but, sadly, that place closed as well...  It was like one of those old time soda fountain places... it really looked authentic!!

  6. theres a man made new one in palm beach florida...its soooo yummy.

  7. We have one here in downtown Fredericksburg, VA.... it's called Goolrick's.
