I feel proud for American athletes, but I also root for athletes from other countries who perform well, even if they beat American athletes.

  1. I'm always amazed at how flexible and nimble some of the chinese can be like in diving ad gymnastics and the furious speed of jamaicans such as the pompous Lighthning Bolt

  2. I Do

The talent and the ability that all of these athletes display are absolutely amazing, and yeah sometimes the judging/ results doesn't always turn out how you want it to be, but accept it and move on!

All of those athletes that have competed in the olympics, should be proud of their talent and ability wheater they finish first or last!!

  3. Yes, but I also root against clear cheaters.

I loved Cathy Freeman's performance in Sydney, Fani Hailki in Athens hurdles.  And I was rooting for Xiang in this olympics before he was injured.  Also loved the Australian women performance in this year's triathlon.  Gold and Bronze.

But state-sponsored cheating has no place in the olympics.

  4. yea... good job to all the athletes from all over  the world .. they did well and worked hard

  5. Me? No. I'm American, and if they ain't wearing the red, white, and blue, I couldn't care less.

Oh, and I'm not Caucasian. How's that for devoted?

  6. Haha at Britt's comment. Funny how I just remembered watching China's volleyball team beating U.S. volleyball team. I also remembered watching China's Li Na defeating one of the William sisters.

  7. Bravo!  That is what the Olympics are supposed to be about, the best athletes, good sportsmanship, and fair play.

  8. Me too.  Love watching those Jamacains run!

    It's the unfair judging I can't stand.

and the rules not applying to everybody thing that gets to me.

  9. If an American isnt involved I dont even watch..

  10. I am not american, im canadian but I also applaud all the athletes in the olympics. And I'm sorry that "all Americans" have been branded as sore losers when there obviously are some that arent like that.

  11. as long as they're winning fair and square, that's ok by me....hats off to the Jamaicans by the way, they kick *** in short distances, but you get 'em in a 400M hurdles and they dunno what to do.  I just want unbiased judging in gymnastics, and this will make Beijing one of the best Olympics in history, but as it's turning out it's awful.  I'll be the first to admit Chinese dominance in diving this year, they are better than everyone else.  I'll say this once and only once, you put a judged event versus a timed or strength event, or skill event...they'll loose every single time.  Need proof? USA softball, USA baseball, USA swimming, USA basketball, USA Track and Field, USA Shotput, USA Discus!  f'in PWNED!

  12. I liked pretty much all of them except for china in the gymnastics. I thinks its clear that they are underage and i just don't trust those whores. I wanted Novak to win tennis. And wanted France to win the 4 by 100 in swimming. I like teams from other country's sometimes more than the US team

  13. I'm proud of athletes, regardless of which country they're representing, and I'm not mad at China for winning medals they shouldn't have, I'm mad at the judges for giving it to them. But I applaud any good athlete. I'd prefer to see the smaller countries kick butt and I'm an American. I don't like Shawn Johnson and I'm so sick of Michael Phelps. Yes, 14 gold medals is a tremendous accomplishment, but no other sport could allow you to win that many. No basketball player or gymnast can win 8+ gold medals each olympics. There are just not that many events.

  14. me

    i love variety

  15. I think the whole world should think so, not only American.  You are watching for the good performances of athletes and country is second thought.

  16. As much as i root for USA, i am a team player and sportsmanship player. All athletes do an amazing job and deserve to be there, i wish them all the best.

  17. Yes. It bruises my ego when we lose though.

LOL, I'm acting like I'm on the USA Team.

  18. Absolutely.  I don't know if you remember, but the 2004 Athens games had the tremendous Iraqi soccer team.  I was hoping they'd win a medal, but it didn't happen :(

  19. There are seventeen of us.

  20. Your question sugests that we don't have good feelings for other athletes competing in the Olympics. It leads me to ask how do you know that we don't? The answer to my question is you don't.
