  1. Yes. The Northeast is pretty large, so I'm not sure what is considered driving distance for you.

Your best bet is Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. They have the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster called Kingda Ka, a great new wooden coaster called El Toro, and a bunch of other great rides.

If you are looking in more of the southern part of the Northeast, check out King's Dominion in Doswell, VA. For the northern Northeast, check out Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA.

  2. i luv cedar point too!!

try six flags great adventure in new jersey, they have the biggest roller coaster in the world!! yesh, even bigger that top thrill dragster

  3. I don't really think that there are any parks in the NE that top Cedar Point.  Somewhere else might be boring after CP's rides all the time.

If you plan on taking your kiddies with you anyone...read these safety guidelines first....

Have fun and be safe wherever you may go!

  4. Have you heard of "King's Island"???

It's near Cincinnati, Ohio... (Mason, I think) and is also a "Cedar Fair" owned park.

They have what a lot of people consider to be the BEST wooden rollercoaster in the world...  THE BEAST!!!

It was built back in 1979 and to this day is still the longest wooden coaster in the world...  it offers a ride time of around 5 minutes, which when compared to most coasters, is a LONG TIME!!

The Beast has become so popular over time that they even introduced a sequel coaster (Son of Beast) a while back... It is the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world!!

  5. Nothing as good as Cedar Point.  A few small junky ones like Michigan Adventures and if you're used to Cedar Point it would be a waste to go.  I can't think of a Six Flags that close, most of them would be a few states away from the Cedar Point area and would be a pretty long drive.  Six Flags about the only ones that would be anywhere near the level of Cedar Point so i wouldn't waste my time with others.
