Are there any other good quality movie makers other than Windows Movie Maker that is free?

Because I have been making a couple of videos lately on windows movie maker, and then I put it on youtube, and on youtube, the quality is the worst quality I have seen in my entire life! Like the picture and the music is the worst!

So, does anyone know of any that are free too?

I don't much care for WMM.  There are free alternatives.  You should always look for open source projects.  Here's a list of some of what's out there.  I don't know exactly how you want to edit your video files but I'm sure you can find something that meets your needs.

To get good quality videos on YouTube, you have to have Windows Movie Maker save the file in the correct format, quality, and size. I would just recommend you stick with the recommened option, then when you upload, there should be a "Watch in High Quality" option when the video goes Live.

Other movie makers are not free. They have trails but the trails have alot of stupid limits such as "can only save first 30 sec of video" etc..

Just stick with WMM, once you get the right settings, you can watch in good quality on YouTube.
