Are there any people here who use GIMP, the similar to Photo-Shop program?

Is it easy to learn or is Photo-Shop easier? Which do you prefer if money is no object? What all do you do with your photo program? Any others you might recommend? Thanks in advance!!!!

  1. I use Gimp , because  photoshop is too complicated for me and i'm bad with editing programs . Though for almost all of my shots , i use picnik .  


  2. I'd choose GIMP simply because it gets updated and these updates wouldn't require me to run to the store or order from the website the new PS software.

  3. I use several, including Gimp. They are all great and each has a little something which makes them unique. There is no doubt the top tier is Photoshop and CorelDraw when it comes to creating awesome art digitally. But of course they are not the only ones, others such as Zbrush, 3DMax, etc, are in a league of their own. Its preference really. I do fine art and graphics art, so I like to meddle with lots of interesting painting and editing softwares.
