Question:

Are there any pizza places (dominos, pizza hut, etc.) that have cheese for vegans?

I recently found out that dairy products were making me break out in acne, so my mom wants me to stay off of dairy for two weeks. So far, my skin has cleared up, but I haven't reached the end of the two weeks yet. Tonight we're ordering pizza for dinner, and let me tell you, I am DYING to have pizza. So is there any pizza that has cheese with like goat milk or something (any cheese that doesn't have cows milk in it will do). I thought about just taking the cheese off, but thats the best part of the pizza! So please tell me, is there anything on the menus of any take-out pizza place that has that kind of cheese on it? Thanks so much! 10 points for best answer!

  1. I believe you can ask the pizza company for pizza with vegan cheese, or you could buy cheese from a store and order pizza without any cheese, so that you can simply put melted vegan cheese on the pizza.

  2. None of the major chains sell pizza with a vegan cheese, There are actually very few vegan cheeses because most soy cheeses use a certain milk protein to make them melt and give them more of a cheese like texture.

Your best bet is to go cheese less though unless you make it yourself it will be pretty gross.

  3. Vegan cheese from Domino's Pizza- no.  Dairy doesn't cause acne.  Eating Domino's Pizza could aggravate your inflammatory response, so stay away from the entire pizza, not just the cheese.  Going vegan could definitely make you feel better by eliminating all of the junk you are eating.  Welcome to the section.

  4. First off, any dairy from any animal is going to do the same thing. What i imagine you can do is order a pizza with no cheese on it (sub it for like onions), then put your own vegan cheese on it and bake it.

Obv. this only works with take n bake pizzas.

  5. All dairy leads to break outs. There is pizza you can buy at the store with soy cheese or you can make your own pizza.

  6. Some locations of Pizza Hut has vegan cheese pizza. The pizza sauce and dough at Chuck E. Cheese, Little Caesars, Cici’s Pizza, and Papa John’s are vegan, while Pizza Hut uses vegan sauce, and only their Thin ’n Crispy and dessert crusts are vegan. By omitting the cheese and choosing your favorite vegetable toppings, you can easily make a delicious vegan pizza!

Amy's has vegan pizzas that are also great. Their Roasted Vegetable Pizza is Delicious, vegan, and cheese free, as well as their Rice Crust Spinach Pizza which is also Delicious, vegan, and has vegan soy cheese.

You can also make a pizza a home it is fairly easy you can buy a pre-made  vegan crust or make your own looking at recipes online for pizza dough/crust, add your favorite toppings such as bell peppers, artichokes, mushrooms, other veggies, cooked tempeh bacon or pepperoni seitan, or pre-made vegan plant meat (such as LightLife, Tofurky, Boca, Morningstar, etc) with your choice of vegan cheese (Teese, FYH Vegan Gourmet, nutritional yeast cheese sauce, VeganRella, etc) and bake!

  7. Unfortunately, I don't think so. If you want vegan friendly cheese pizza, you're going to have to make the pizza yourself. That's why I'm only vegetarian. I find it simply too hard to live in the world we live in not using anything from animals.

  8. i dont know of any places that deliver it. but whole foods makes an AMAZING vegan pizza. soooo good.

  9. Pizza Planet has vegan options, including pizza. On their menu, anything with a carrot next to it is vegan. It's pricey, though. For less than $10, you can make your own. I buy Pillsbury pizza dough (in a can), a small can of pizza sauce, some "Vegan-rella" (I buy it at my grocery store, but if yours doesn't have it, try a health food store in your area) and some Yves meatless pepperonis. Delicious!

  10. Do you have Pizza Express where you are? In the UK they used to make pizzas with vegan cheese on request, but they don't now. They will add vegan cheese if you take your own though.

But - they will make a superb vegan pizza without cheese - cheese is only the best part of the pizza on boring pizzas! Their bases and sauces are vegan.

Pizza Hut will make you a pizza without cheese but they don't add other ingredients to make up for it, so it's not as nice.

And in the US pizza Hut's bases aren't vegan - they have milk and egg in them. They're vegan in the UK.

  11. Well, cheese isn't vegetarian as it is.  It usually has stomach acids in it that come from baby calves. Your best bet is to make your own pizzas, I'm sorry to tell you.  Although if you do some hunting, I'm sure that you can find a good place that makes vegan cheese, or even just bring some in and ask if they'll make it with that cheese.  It's unorthodox, but it might work.  Probably your best bet though is with a "Mom and Pop" business, they tend to be the nicest and most amenable to that.  Tonight though, I'd just make your own pizza.  Sorry, I wish that I could have helped more.

  12. try getting pizza at Native Foods, if you do try the Mama Mia pizza (my favourite) or the Voluptous Veggie.

it's a vegan place and no cheese on these pizza's

  13. this doesn't belong in this section. this section is for vegans and vegetarians NOT acne-prone teens with little willpower. also, no pizza chain restaurants offer vegan cheese. goat milk isn't vegan, by the way. either you want vegan cheese, or you don't. if you don't, get out
