Are there any political moderates here on yahoo answers?

Obviously, the liberals and conservatives are going at it just like atheists and Christians. I'm wondering if there is anyone on here who is in the middle.

I am moderate and support Sen. Obama. Its hard for me to keep from yelling at the psycho-radical right-wingers on here though. I think they're NUTS !!!

I've answered a lot of questions on this site. I am a Republican. I am voting for McCain -Palin. I consider myself a moderate and here's why. I believe in less government, strong defense and lower taxes. These are Republican ideals.

I love g*y people. black people and everyone else. Abortion is not an issue with me. I just want less government in my life. We have to stop relying on government to solve our problems.

The democrats WANT more government, more programs, universal healthcare and wealth distribution. This is wrong in my eyes.

Thankfully, yes.  Rove did a great job over the past 8 years to polarize and divide people.  I'm moderate, just a shade to the left.  I have several friends who are moderate, just a shade to the right.  We have intelligent conversations, some disagreement, and no name calling.

I'm moderate, anti-abortion, but with a belief that automatic guns should be with military and law enforcement only, not for sport. i also have an emphasis on fiscal responsibility (like getting the deficit going from red to black) and civil rights. I like the idea of universal healthcare, but realize it won't be realistic for it to come to fruition without some kind of tax. I'm all for reasonable taxes but not pork-barrel spending. So yeah, I'm middle of the road, leaning more left.

I'm a registered Democrat, but I won't have a problem voting for a Republican if I think they'll do a better job.  I'm not a huge fan of liberals, but I'd take a group of pot-smoking hippies over controlling, hypocritical, religious zealots that care more about their own than what's best for everyone.  I don't have a huge problem with the non-conservative Republicans, though.

I'm kind-of middle.  I mean I'm pro-choice, anti-gun laws, I did like McCain but his choice was the final nail in the coffin.
