Are there any power outlets on the amtrak carolinian coach class?

i will be riding coach class tommorrow and i am in for a long ride i would like to bring electronic devices like cell phone etc without my batteries dying

  1. My condolences on such a long ride... but don't disturb other passengers by talking on your cell phone.  If you must handle short conversations, step into a vestibule or bathroom.

    Lots of Amtrak passengers nowadays have iPods, laptops etc. and there are plugs around, either in the coach or in the lounge car, which you are free to use.


  2. most amtrak trains has limited outlets in coach class, so try and get seated by one.
