  1. Make sure you have installed an anti tip device on the floor.  Getting it precisely where you want it is a problem.  Put yellow Plumbers goo on the threads, tighten the nut, turn on the gas, and check for leaks with soapy water.  It will bubble like crazy when it leaks.  Check both ends of the hose for bubbling.  Do you have a gas cut off valve where the stove is?  If not turn it off outside and install one.

Slide in the stove when you are sure the install is good, light the pilots or just turn on the burners if self igniting to chase out the air until you get a good blue flame.  Turn on the oven too, to test it.

  2. Make sure the gas is off. Make sure your connections are tight before you turn the gas back on. Light your pilots.

  3. Just make sure the flex line have the same fitting for the connection.  Than make sure the shut off valve works.  The plug have electrical power.  That's about it on the inspection.

  4. Make sure that gas is not leaking u can detect by smell. check that gas is fixed properly
