Are there any products I could use when I straighten my hair to make it stay straight?

Because my hair has a natural curl to it, when ever I straighten it, it never stays straight and always flicks and looks bad by the end of the day! Does anyone know of any hair products I could use to stop this from happening? Thanks.

tresemme's straightening gel works really well. i use it and found that it's good against humid weather too!
