Are there any programmes or cheap fares to get to Wales or Scotland?

I'm a teacher and would love to be able to travel to Wales and/or Scotland during either the summer months or one of my two week "vacations" during the school year (Spring Break or Christmas Break). Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of money (cancer and the teaching salary) and was wondering about any opportunities or programmes or cheap airfares available? (I don't think I could do a teacher exchange as I teach Spanish.)

Firstly where are you traveling from?  Once there you can get around most of the place by MegaBus, they are extremely cheap.

There are a number of " cut price2 airlines flying in the UK and serving Scotland and Wales . Easy jet - Ryanair - Flybee . If you fly at certain times of the day it is quit cheap  Check schedules on net ( Google )
