Are there any protective gears exclusive for arnis? Is it already available in the Philippine market?

Although traditionally we did not used armor, in modern times it is foolish not to. International Filipino Martial Arts tournaments use regulation armor, Full contact still use helmets but not padding and only Masters, Black belts etc. can participate in such tournaments.

It is available anywhere in the internet not just the Philippines. You just Google it but here is the official site of WEKAF( world escima-kali-arnis federation) http://www.wekafusa.org/ ,which most of the Arnis tournament follows the guidelines of the organization.

Hope this clears things up a little. And please research first and not rely on answers here, even mine. Look for yourself and find the truth.

many people use a mix of hockey and kendo armor for padding.  A traditional arnis practitioner uses no padding.
