Are there any pubs/bars in and around Newcastle (Tyneside)that allow dogs in if we are eating a bar meal?

Have booked 3 days in June in Newcastle and have found a hotel that will happilly accept the dog. However I am wondering if anyone can tell me if they know of any pubs/restaurants that are dog friendly. We are going in June so hopefully it might be ok weather if there are places we could sit outside.

Am looking primarily for centralish pubs but if anyone knows anywhere on outskirts etc that would be good too

i  have  been  in lots  of  bar in  newcastle and  at  night  there  are  lots  of  dogs  in  them

A lot of them will be down to the landlord's discretion I should think.
