  1. Environmental studies, Biology with a focus on Ecology, Forestry, pre-law and then become an environmental lawyer, Political Science and then become a community organizer or green party politician, Engineering and then design sustainable non-polluting cities and products, architect and design eco friendly buildings. There are MANY schools for these studies. Dartmouth College, Yale, and Oregon State U are some that come to mind.

Tell me what you like to do, and I can probably find a way to link it to the environment!

  2. I hope so bcuz that sounds like a really good Idea sorry I didnt help though

  3. Sure most universities have environmental studies departments.  There's environmental science, environmental science, policy, and management, environmental studies, forestry, ecology, etc.  Lots to choose from.  UC Berkeley has a good deparment, for example.

  4. Not Major John Green?

Marine biology and oceanography are areas with majors that are very important right now.

It is important to get out and do some work with a BSc, but one would want to go on to masters or PHD level eventually.

  5. Hello,

Some of the ideas that other yahoo users have share are good. Also, to enrich your answer you can look up at seminar's and conferences where they talk about what's going on education related on enviromental issues.

    Try: http://www.greensummit.net/

There's one conference that is about Green Careers; Education and

    Workforce and Development.

This is offered by the Arizona State University along with other organizations.

If this is not something you find useful at the moment, at least will help you identify to where look at.
