Are there any "Special" tools needed to become a Locomotive Tech other than what I alredy have as an Auto Tech

I'm leaving the Automotive sector to become a Locomotive mechanic for CN. Are there any other "special" tools I will require, other than what I already have as an auto tech.

I have a substancial selection of tools already so I have the basics. Anyone ???

  1. In any of the shops I have been around mechanics (usually called "machinists") do not have their own tools as there are quite a number of specialized tools needed.

    You will be provided with the tools you need.
