Yes, there are social projects, cultural projects, scientific projects, job projects, art projects, ...

I do not know what you mean by projects, but if it is what the other poster suggested as ghettos, yes there are, but they are not very obvious, and the policia make sure that they stay out of the way.

Austria is a very clean country, and everyone trys to keep most parts very picturesque
