Due to a disability I am not able to work full-time. I cannot stand or sit for long periods of time either. For the past couple of months I have tying to connect with companies that say they have "telecommuting" jobs available. Unfortunately, most of these are scams. I am really discouraged, I am also a senior citizen. So I tried some of the sites

on AARP. These seem to be mostly for second career or social connections. Hopefully someone may have some suggestions.

  1. Hi! GDI is the most powerful opportunity on the planet! The beauty and ease of this powerhouse company is in it's powerful product, it's simple system, and the fact it is so affordable.

    Greetings.

  2. Hello,

There are plenty of work from home jobs that aren't scams but they're usually businesses that have start up costs. you can check this site out before you get involved with anything online. It's not a job site, it's more educational.

  3. Tough one. Most "work at home" jobs are scams -- it's just too desirable a job not to be overrun with people trying to exploit others.

There are a handful of freelance sites, Guru, RentACoder and eLance, which you could browse to see if there's anything on offer that you could do to supplement your income. Lots of the work is technical, but not all. Don't overlook local staffing agencies and not-for-profits, either, who sometimes need a part-timer.

Sorry about the tough times -- hope things look up for you soon.
