Are there any racial problems in Florence?

I was just wondering, because I will be heading there on Monday. Just wanted to be secure. Thanks.

I've been and found the florence people to be very diverse and nice.

As in any tourist city be aware of scams and pick pockets but other than that enjoy!!

i ran into a racial cop.  that's all that i have seen.  

avoid the cops there!

I'm Italian and I've never heard of racial problems in Florence.

Florence is a big touristic city and people are used to see people from all over the world and they are very open to others, don't worry.

As long as you bring credit card with high limits it's OK.

Many people like Italy but don't like Italian, I can understand, but you can change it.

And if you want us to be very nice, sometime we like to write down the last 3 digit number on your credit card to make some our own shopping spree.
