Are there any radio jobs in Scotland?

Question

Been sending out demos and CVs to various stations with little or no feedback. I do presenting for UCA Radio in Ayr and Subcity in Glasgow. Been doing student / community radio for about five years and searching for a break somewhere.

Is it a radio presener you want or your single played?

Either way i heard about a guy who gave his cd to chris moyles and he played it during his show and got him thousands of downloads, now rather successfull, maybe try that with a scottish DJ? im in scotland, maybe try XFM or Clyde One? OR even hospital radio?

If there's radio there are jobs. You just have to be persistent. Go to station activities and try to get to know some of the lower-ranked employees who are doing outside promotions. Let them know you'll do anything just to get started.

Perserverance is the key (talent don't hurt neither). Good luck.
