Are there any radio stations that offer contests?

I am home injured and cant go to school, so what radio stations are there in southern california or any radio station i could here and win something, maybe

Have you tried entering online sweepstakes and contests?  Our site (bigsweeps.com) lists radio station online sweepstakes and contests as well as others by major sponsors and we have LOTS of people who win and post to our user forums.

Most stations will have contests at one point or another,  especially nearing summer.  I'd say look up your local stations online to find out what kind of events they have coming up.

Scan the 100 + band on your radio in FM, they usually give out daily money.

Watch as some stations have rules that you must live in the proximate area of the station. Go online to their website first and read the general rules for contests.

Most stations have contests , however with webcasting and people outside the area winning sometimes, the rules state now that they must be in the listening area.. so best thing to do is hit the websites of all the radio stations in the area as they will usually promote the contest on the front page.
