Are there any real differences in contact lenses multi-purpose cleaning solutions?

I have acuvue oasys for astigmatism lenses and I use opti-free replenish, but only because that was the sample the doctor gave me. I was just wondering if there really was a difference in the cleaning solutions?

Yes there actually is a difference between solutions.  Different brands use different ingredients and some react better with certain kinds of lenses.  There have been several studies showing opti-free replenish tends to perform better with contact lenses (makes eyes more comfortable by being gentler on the cornea) than most all other brands.  For a deep cleaning or problems with buildup or allergies, ClearCare is good to use as well but for everyday most all offices are leaning towards recommending replenish.  Opti-free also has a good reputation as it has had no problems with infections causing it to be recalled.
