Question:

Are there any really good hotels in Paris?

I'm looking for a not too expensive hotel in the centre of Paris. I'm going for 4 days, and want to spend less than £500 for the trip. But I won't mind spending a bit more if the hotel is worth it.

Thanks in advance.

  1. We stayed at the Hotel Residence Foch about 6 months ago.  It was nice.  Small hotel, but very friendly.  Hotel rooms aren't huge, but that's normal for Paris.  It was about 10 mins walk from the Arc de Triomphe, going in a south westerly direction.

I booked it based on the Trip Advisor website recommendations, and was very happy with my stay there.  I am a fussy traveller!  The hotel have a website, and are very good at communicating in English!

  2. Try the youth hostels (auberge juenesse).  they are very very cheap.  You'll need most of that money just for the food!  So, stay at a youth hostel.

  3. Do you mean £500 for all the expenses of the trip or £500 for just the hotel?

  4. i stayed at one lttle hotel right next to a train station only five streets away from the( chaunse a leesa , not sure how you spell that) it was excellent owned by a lady, in 1997 but i cannot remember the name of it sorry i have been racking my brains for the name
