Are there any recommended prep books for the SAT II Biology test?

Is the SAT II biology hard? What books could i use to prepare for it?

  1. It isn't too hard once you study from the books. The books are much more harder than the actual SAT. I recommend having a feel for the three great ones and if you have time, do go through them all thoroughly. If you have limited time, choose one and study it thoroughly and skim the others, but it's worth purchasing all.

    -Kaplan (hardest analysis)

    -Barron's (best diagrams and charts)

    -Princeton Review (most clear explanations)

    these helped me get an 800. good luck!

Try sparknotes.com, you get one free test for each account and there's five bio tests, but just be aware, there are a few wrong answers and questions with multiple answers on sparknotes, but its not bad. Don't go with REA, because their questions are overly specific to certain areas and won't help you on the actual test. The sparknotes one's are about the same difficulty as the actual test, but sparknotes gives you a lower score than the actual SAT bio.
