I would definitely recommend She Said Boom on College St. Its mid-sized, cheap and has pretty much all genres (except hip hop). On Bloor St I would go to Sonic Boom - which is huge - or Zoinks! (smaller but with harder to find titles). Happy hunting!

WHAT???  Even though Toronto is a city of many million, there are no record/cd stores, they are banned!

Sadly we have lost our " Sam The Record Man ' but we have HMV and they have a great selection , 2 or 3 floors!
