Are there any relatively inexpensive DVD players available in the US that play region 2 DVD's?

A DVD set I want to buy only comes in formats 2 and 4. (The US is region 1, I think.) I need to buy a new DVD player anyway because the old one is starting to have troubles. Are there DVD players available that play more than one regions' DVD's? I found ways to program your existing DVD player but the one I have is too old to be compatable I am sure, and I hate to fiddle around and ruin a brand new one. Putting in a code that may or may not work makes me nervous. Any suggestions?

buy an old computer with a dvd-rom drive, change the region to 2, download a dvd player for the pc and attach to you monitor, or if you have a plasma/lcd tv, hook it up to that.
