I am delighted by McCain's choice. He is a real man and she is a real woman. . She hunts moose She fishes. Was a TV Sports reporter, then City council for 4 years, then Mayor then for 4 years, then Lt Governor for 4 years, now Governor for 2 years.

She has an approval rate of over 80% as Governor, the highest in the USA.

I don't like McCain, so for me it's Obama for president.  McCain lost the election today.  While Palin is impressive she is not presidential material.  How does a 72-year old candidate think he can get away with this?  He truly has no judgment.

The ideal candidate for McCain would had been a governor who has shown the capacity to work with a Democratic state congress in a swing state McCain needs to win. Whatever slim chance McCain had to win was blown.

No. I've been praying for weeks that McCain would choose Palin. I thought it was a longshot at best, though, and when Pawlenty canceled his AP interview, I thought for sure that it was him. And I was disappointed. I was so excited when I heard this morning that he chose Palin instead - so excited that I donated to McCain's campaign afterward.
