Are there any restaurants that cook food in front of you in Toronto?

My cousin loves cooking and I thought for her birthday I could take her to a restaurant where they cooked food in front of you etc.

Basically some place fun where she could see the food in process.

Does such a place exist in Toronto...anywhere lol?

She eats pretty much all foods; Im the one who is vegetarian but I can deal with it.

Are there any other suggestions for good restaurants?

  1. Fire & Ice ..Not sure if it's toronto though..It's amazing none the less <3

  2. There are quite a variety of restaurants that they cook front of you.The most popular ones are Japanese tepenyaki tables,or some Korean restaurants on Yonge Street that you can cook your own choice right on your table. You will be able to locate them through the yellow pages.

Of course it all depends if you like oriental food.

    Good Luck,and enjoy.

  3. ryans watch them make stake on the grill

or whatch them make ranch dressing

  4. Alot of the Japanese palces do that, Benihana does it in the Royal York, I go to a place on Queen St just west of McCaul, and it is a Korean BBQ, you sit there and your cook your own bits and pieces on a gas fired hibachi, there are a number of them in the city, there is a Chinese place wehre they sell a Singaporian dish called Steamboat, similar to a fondue but with a spicy broth, like hot pot but with a different type of broth.

  5. There's a great place in Mississauga called the Iron Chef. (very close to Toronto)

Its a sushi bar where they have the grill in front of you and cook your dinner there.

Very reasonably priced and the chefs do some really fancy stuff - like flipping food into peoples mouths, making a volcano out of onions etc.

The price is quite reasonable too. :)
