i have a criminal record for handling stolen goods to which i received 80 hours community service. this was a stupid mistake, but i have learned from this and feel i am a better person for it. i want to go on holiday to Mexico in November 2009 but i am worried i wont gain entry upon landing due to my criminal record.

i've searched to internet to find out but nowhere gives information on visitors with criminal records.

anyone with past experience or any information could you please help?

  1. Hi, I don't think the Mexican Immigration authorities would have a way to know about the record.

As long as you respect the laws and accepted behaviour while you are here, I  don't see a problem. A Mexican jail would be far nastier than an English one, so just be a good guy!
