Are there any restrictions on bringing an ipod and a book on a flight from the UK to the USA?

I read that they had banned like your ipod and a book from being a carryon and you had to put it in your checked luggage is this still going on but everything i've been reading has been from like august 2006 when the bomb scare happened in the UK

um , no. unless you have a bomb in your ipod, it will be fine. read TSA restrictions if you ever have doubts

no there isn't but you must turn it off during takeoff and landing

Did you put the control to the bomb on your Ipod? If you did you may  not. J/k

No restrictions at all regarding those, except you may not use it when they tell you not to...announced during the flight.

never heard of such a thing. i bring my ipod on the flights!

The only restriction is that you may not use the iPod until the captain gives permission over the intercom.
