Are there any restrictions placed upon a person when making an accumulator bet at a bookmakers in the u.k?

Q Are there any restrictions when placing an accumulator bet in the u.k in reguards to

A the size of the bet to be placed?

B the amount of horses bet upon for the sellected accumulator

C the earning potential of the bet

Or are these factors subject to the bookkeepers perogative?

  1. the more selections, the more likly they are to take it because it's harder to win the more horses you have. as for stake, they'll take pretty much anything on an accumulator with lots of selections. all bookmakers have a maximum payout, the big three all have payout limits of a million, so if you won 1.5 million they'd still only pay you 1 million.

  3. there is no limit of selections for a straight acc all bookes have max payouts so your winnings may be capped to a certain ammount which varies for different sports

  4. As far as I'm aware, bookies have a maximum stake, depending on the type of bet and maximum payout, which varies between them.

    I don't think many bookies would turn down, say, a 12 horse accumulator, the more horses you pick, the better odds of one not placing.

    I'll stick to my occasional lucky 15!
