  1. Yes, you can work on your footwork, head movement, combinations.

    1=Jab

    2=Cross

    3=Hook

    4=Right Upper Cut if you are RH Left Upper Cut if you are LH

    5=Vice versa

    So start off by throwing Jabs or (1s) for a minute, focus on not moving straight in and out. Always move out after throwing a punch on an angle. This helps to avoid taking on a full punch in a fight. Move your head side to side as you move back too. This also prevents from being hit flush.

    Do this for 30 seconds, the Double the Jab for 30 seconds (1, 1) focus on moving out on angles, rotate with your feet around the bag.

    Then go 1,2 for thirty seconds Jab then Cross, again move out or rotate to the left or right. Bob and Weave too. Bend at the waist and contract you abs at the same time.

    Next, let it fly, 1,2,3 Jab, Cross, Hook Bob back out or rotate around the bag for 30 seconds.

    Finally suck in the air cause you'll need it:

    for 30 seconds throw the 1,2,3,4,5 all five punches. Breath as you let you hands go. Back out on angles or rotate.

    Rest for 60 seconds and try this for 6 rounds. You will struggle.

    When this becomes easier start working on exotic combos such as Jab, Hook or Jab to the Body, Hook to the head, or Overhand powerhand whether you're southpaw or righty.

    Always focus on footwork and never back straight out.

    If you have any questions or if this seems confusing punch me an e-mail.

    ALSO focus on NOT dropping your Bag Gloves, as soon as you throw a punch bring that hand right back to you face. You elbows should be bent in a way that they protect you liver and kidneys, always bring your hands back to your face after each punch and focus on NOT dropping your hands when you are sucking wing. Breath in your nose and out your nose. Once you start breathing with your mouth you leave yourself open for a broken jaw or easy knockout should you get into a real fight. So keep that mouth shut unless you get your nose broken and then you'll no choice but to breath out of you mouth. But that's another topic/answer.
