Are there any runways that have a taxiway at the end going in the same direction?

For example, right after the piano keys or displaced threshold, there would be just a taxiway?

  1. Oxford Kidlington and Manchester Airport RWY23L

  2. Definately, check out taxiway alpha at the approach end of 17R http://flightaware.com/resources/airport...

  3. I'm not really too sure what you're asking but I'll take a stab at it and you tell me if I got it.

Taxiways frequently intersect and cross runways. I'm not sure what piano keys you're speaking of, I'm thinking you might mean the hold short line (sort of looks like yellow piano keys I guess). You will find a hold short line anywhere a taxiway crosses a runway, every time without exception.

At the ends of the runway (I think this is what you're asking) It is not common for a runway to transition into a taxiway without a turn, typically at 90 degree angels at the end ends of the runway. I hope thats what you're asking.

A displaced threshold is really just an extension of the runway, so it is treated just like the runways.

Take a look at Chicago Midway,  runway 31R, is that what you're talking about how the taxiway extends beyond the runway?  That is very unusual, but it does happen.

If you can think of a way to reword the question I'm sure you could get some better answers.
