I have a lot of soreness in and around my eyes, and have been to the eye doctor who says my eyes are healthy, but they are a bit irritated and inflamed. Does anyone know of any TRULY natural eye drops to use for painful eyes, or anything natural that would be safe to put in my eyes?

  1. - Buy an eye bath, preferably glass, but plastic will do, available at all good pharmacies {sounds like a commercial}, ok, now add 4 drops of lemon and fill with filtered {filtered from chlorine/fluoride} water to the eye bath, place over eye, and look in all directions, clockwise/anti-clockwise, for 30seconds, spill the contents, and repeat for the other eye. This soothes the eyes, and feels really good. I use it before/after wearing contact lenses, it prevents eye infections, and soothes tired, dry eyes, and its a free home remedy.

    - Alternatively, use Dr. Schulz Eye Bright Eye Formula, instead of the lemon. This is superior.

    - Also place your palms over your eyes, and massage, for 15minutes, look into the Bates Method for more information. This will improve your eye sight, and relax them.

    - Use Rich's MSM Water Drops as eye drops, this is superior and cheaper than conventional saline eye drops, as it contains MSM which softens the eyes, and prevents further degeneration.

    Hope this helps.

  2. saline drops are good, use a chamomile eye serum to help the outside if your eye relax. www.thebodyshop.com

Make two tea bags of chamomile tea, and then put them in the fridge, when they're cold, rest w. them  over your closed eyes and chill for like 20 min. then use saline tears to keep your eyes moisturized.

    hope that helps!

  3. black or green tea bags are one of the best (and easiest) options for soothing sore eyes

    also try washing with:

    camomile

    rose water

    calendula

    eyebright

    goldenseal

    saltwater

    honey

    slices of potato or cucumber

  4. cocaine

  5. Try eyebright tea.  You can steep it for drinking or as an eyewash.  It cures many eye ailments.
