Are there any saying that americans people use?

i want some saying that only americans say.

i think i've heard one once on a television program

it was "gnarly or sounded like narley or something.

help me out with cute american sayings plz!

  1. Just say "You Know" at the end of everything you say and only just talk about just yourself, "You Know",  and "You Know" you'll sound just like an American, "You Know"

    Gnarls or Gnarly means absolutely nothing it's a dud name to alias a person or fiction a fact  which is a reality that wants to remain anonymous. Many poets and musicians Gnarls there names to remain anonymous. American singer Martha Wash, Gnarls her music industry name and created many  very popular 90's dance bands such as Black Box, C+C Music Factory, Snap, Rozalla and Corona.

    Milli Vanilli were another Gnarls band who's vocals were the former Boney M singers Fabrice Morvan vocals. So that is what Gnarly means "You Know" (tee hee)

The tv series Beavis and Butthead (MTV mid 1990's) introduced us to a lot of new words mainly referring to your a** or a**e as we call it over here.  We'd never heard words such as butt-head, butt-knocker, a** goblin, dil hole, dil wad, bung-hole, f**t-knocker, butt-monkey and numb nuts.  I'm sure there were others aswell.

    "Put upon" = people giving you too many troubles, responsibilities.

    "Let me put it to you like this"= allow me to explain this further in my own sentiment.

    "Mad as a wet hen"= extremely mad

    "I'm fixin' to..." = I am about to...

    "Chester drawers" = chest of drawers

    "Fixin's or all the bells and whistles"  = everything that is offered.

    The southern part of the US has the best weather, most polite people, and of course, the best looking people around.
