Are there any scholarships for elementary students?

I have started saving for my daughter to attend college. But I am sure it won't be enough by time she is old enough. Right now she is in 2nd grade and I am wondering if there are any scholarship programs that award like savings bonds or something along that affect that would gain interest over the next 11 years?

i live in NWI and my credit union offers a college savings plan that offers a high interest rate.. you can start saving as soon as you get the kids social security number... or you may also buy savings bonds... pay 25 bucks get 50 bucks in likee 10 years.. .that would be a god investment and put the bonds in her name so that you dont have to pay interest on them..
